I was asked again today if 50 Shades of Grey was a YA novel. I gave the girl Ruta Septys’ “Between Shades of Grey” instead and didn’t tell her what it was about. She’s gonna be surprised when she realizes that Nazis aren’t into S&M when they’re deporting Lithuanians.
